Photo-A-Day – Days 41-52 {Brisbane Childrens Photography}

Oh golly gosh…. how far behind my POTD am I??? Rest assured the photos have been taken…  but fortunately {or unfortunately – depends on how you look at it} I have been flat out with paying photography shoots that I have had to leave the “playing” of my POTD shots on the back burner for a wee bit… I have a break in editing for clients until the end of the week {ok so thats not entirely true… I am not 100% done… but its close to it… lol} so I thought today was the day I would catch up on my own personal editing…. well attempt to anyway…. I have a whole bunch to update for now… but will have to return to catch up entirely……. oops! lol

Day 41 – February 10th – I hadn’t taken my photo for the day…. was thinking about skipping it…. naughty I know! But went in to check on the D-Man and this is where I found him… it was about 10.30pm and he was sound asleep on the floor… obviously fell off… but didn’t wake :)

Day 42 -February 11th – How sweet is this?! I was busy working away when D-man came racing out to tell me that I had to come and look at his picture…. I am sure you can make out something from the drawing… but what it really is, is my baby in my belly :) And the little dot to the right is the baby’s dummy :)

Day 43 – February 12th – Miss B & D-Man spent the afternoon out the back looking for lady beetles… they found  2 :) Here is one of the little cuties… I tried my hardest to get a good macro shot but it moved aobut so fast I could not get good focus… doh! Not to worry…. it was still cute :)

Day 44 – February 13th – Not what I was planning on taking a photo of for the day… but sometimes the best plans can go to the wayside for something cuter :) Daddy was playing with my baby Nikon as he learns the art himself…. D-Man liked the idea too and so he took his turn taking some shots…. he got some pretty good ones too :) Very proud mummy :) When I pulled my camera out as well he decided to take a photo of me taking a photo of him :) This is the result on my end!!

13th February

Day 45 – February 14th – Master D-Man had actually been quite sick for the 3rd day in a row… he is such a trooper though and fights his way through it… when he isn’t throwing up he is trying to be happy & play…. but it finally caught up with him and he could do nothing but lay on the couch… he fell asleep again by 9.30 am and slept for hours… when he woke he felt a little better!!

14th February

Day 46 – February 15th – Miss B had a dentist appointment after school… we were planning on getting one fissure seal done {she had deep fissures in the back of 3 teeth} it turned out though that the dentist wanted to make sure there was no decay so had to drill… ended up getting 3 fillings instead… she is a brave girl and didn’t make a peep…. when we got home she didn’t even have to be told, she just began her homework… very proud of my big brave girl!

15th February

Day 47 – February 16th – Ok, so not the best photo in the world… very low res…. taken on my stupid blackberry {which I hate} but it was all I had with me… Brisvegas was hit by a HUGE amount of rain in a small amount of time and we had some flash flooding… I almost couldn’t get home… went through a lot of water… scary stuff… anyway our workshop almost went under…. this shot was taken about 2 hours before it reached its peak {much higher than shown here} thankfully we didn’t actually get flooded but it was too close for comfort.

In this shot its actually raining quite consistently but both the boys are out in it… D-Man is throwing sticks in the water… Daddy is on the phone to our insurer to check what we are covered for!

See tomorrows pic to see what its meant to look like from our workshop doorway!

16th February

Day 48 – February 17th – So you saw my pic from yesterday…. basically we were almost flooded out… this is just a shot to show what it is meant to look like from our workshop doorway on a business day….. not like yesterdays shot!!!

17th February

Day 49 – February 18th – A day at home with mummy… while mummy does the cleaning D-Man loves to watch You Tube videos…. here he is watching one of his favourites – 5 Little Ducks… he watches this one over and over again… lol

18th February

Day 50 – February 19th – I spent the day photographing an adorable little newborn so I didn’t have alot of “family’ stuff going on… I almost forgot my photo altogether but remembered it just before the kids got ready for bed… so todays pic is just a quick snapshot in the very dark night of the house….. thanks midgie I love you!! xx

19th February

Day 51 – February 20th – I love my husband! That said… he is as unique as me….. he loves mowing the lawn…and here is why!! While I was out with a client and her newborn, daddy was home mowing the lawn…. this is his result for this time. Yep thats right… its a nice chessboard pattern. Every time he mows the lawn he does a different pattern in the grass… the kids love it and spend ages playing in whatever the design is! Me…. well I just think its strange… lol

20th February

Day 52 – February 21st -Kids just being kids… it was pouring down rain and my two youngest thought it would be fun to play in the rain…. to begin with they didn’t have the umbrellas’ but daddy gave them to them.

We played a game with them with the pattern in the lawn that daddy made yesterday… here they are waiting for the next set of instructions :) They had a ball!!

21st February

OK…. so there you have it… thats what I have managed to edit so far…  I will begin to start on the next 10+ days I still have left shortly…. that will be another post… hopefully not too far away….!!

On another note…. just want the world to know that I am almost 28 weeks pregnant…. very exciting!!! eek!

Until next time!
