Day 16 – January 16th - D-Man was on a strange hunger strike… well not really but he was being very fussy and no matter what I tried to get him to eat he declined… except for yogurt… so I let him pig out… ate everything that was left in the container… at least he ate something… lol
Day 17 – January 17th - OK… so you may notice that D-Man is STILL wearing the same shirt as the day before?? Well…. the reason is simple… being a typical precocious 3 year old… he has his favourite things… he woke up in the morning…. after breaky I told him to go get dressed… he comes out wearing the same dirty stinky shirt as the day before and would NOT get changed under any circumstances… boys!!
Day 18 – January 18th wow what a day… spent the better part of the day organising Miss K for her first year of high school 
She is very nervous but at least she is decked out correctly…. even if it has cost me a small fortune… **sigh** Anyways… much to her disgust I insisted she try on her new clothes and model for my photo for the day I think she look smashing
Day 19 – January 19th – Whilst doing a bit of essential grocery shopping we stopped and played at the holiday activities for kids…. drawing, puzzles etc…. but also some plant potting…. they had a bit of fun planting their own little tomato plants
Day 20 – January 20th – Happy Birthday to me…. … I feel so old… lol
I was very surprised to come home to a beautiful bouquet of flowers sitting on my doorstep {thankfully out of the sun} – a birthday gift from my FIL So todays photo is a macro shot of a gerbera…. my very first play with my 105mm lens I got for Christmas.. haven’t had a chance before to play!
Day 21 – January 21st - In preparation for the next 2 days which was to be spent at Lifes Colourful Canvas Workshop…. myself & a number of other photographers went to Scarborough for a photoshoot…. not much sun to be seen…. sunset was a fizzer… but we still got some lovely shots…. I didn’t have the chance to take any other shots for the day…. so here is a shot I took of one of the cute little models for the afternoon.
Day 22 – January 22nd – with a full day at the workshop ahead of me I made sure I got some quick snaps before I left…. so here is the D-Man posing quickly for me before we jumped in the car to take him to kindy
Day 23 – January 23rd – After another full day at the workshop I returned home just after 6pm to find my 2 boys out the back…. you might be wondering what it is that they are doing… well… they are treating all the green ant nests in our yards with corn meal…. yep thats right…. strange as that may sound its meant to be a very good treatment…and we have alot of green ants and D-man gets bitten all the time…. hoping that in the next week or so that will change
Day 24 – January 24th – The kids wanted to play with some sparklers… so I thought maybe I could get some writing or something along those lines….. didn’t quite work out the way I planned… Miss K was not the best at legible writing… and Miss B & D-Man kept running around behind her…. so I ended up with a mess like this lol
Day 25 – January 25th – I almost forgot to take my photo for the day…. oops… but remembered just in time to catch the D-Man having some yummy scrummy fruit salad for dessert
Day 26 – January 26th – Happy Australia Day!! What else can you do for Australia Day than to include the good old Aussie flag… and I don’t care what anyone says I think our flag is just find and dandy the way it is
Day 27 – January 27th – First day of school…. MIss B is now in grade 5 & Miss K is now in Grade 8 – big high school kid Here they are just as we walked out the door to take them to school for the first day
Day 28 – January 28th – PCS {Photographers Child Syndrome} is in full force here… with the t-shirt to match too
Day 29 – January 29th – One of my dear friends has come to visit….. so I had to make a special trip to the airport to pick her up {and her beautiful baby girl as well} and seeing as I was going to the airport it was the perfect time to go to the DFO to get Miss B her much wanted converse shoes {she saved her own money up as well}. Miss B bought 2 pairs…. these blue ones and a pair of YELLOW… her favourite colour!! {See coming photos to see those ones I am sure }
Day 30 – January 30th - The later part of the afternoon was spent photographing a cutie in numerous pettiskirts…. while I was off photographing the cutie… {photos to come}…. daddy & D-Man played in the park and water play center of Rocks River Park… when I was finished I went to find them….. this is what I found…. D-Man sitting {very happily} in a pool of water shivering like crazy but very content staying in the water… lol The ripples you can see around him are from his shivers!!
While I am here I thought I would add some lovely belly bump photos of myself that was taken by a lovely friend of mine…. these are a couple of my favourite ones
